Experience & education
Kemo draws on their passion for rope and kink to create personalized experiences for the people they connect with. They have been studying rope for 7+ years and consider themself a perpetual student of rope, on top of being an educator.
Kemo first took classes locally in the greater Los Angeles area, and later invested in 1-on-1 instruction from leaders in the craft. Today they continue their rope education by frequenting intensives and occasional private lessons, while remaining active in the local rope scene. Kemo can often be found attending rope and kink events, munches and jams.
Rope artist & teacher
An acclaimed performer, Kemo Burns has showcased their tying skills and participated in panels and interviews on stages across the country. Some notable events include Lightning in a Bottle, The Laugh Factory, Burning Man, DomCon LA & NOLA, multiple sexual health/BDSM summits and countless kinky play parties.
Along with their annual workshops at LIB and The Big Burn, Kemo was a resident rope bondage instructor at Kink Collective OC in Santa Ana, CA throughout 2024. Today they can be found teaching pop-up workshops on topics such as negotiating a rope scene, arms-free harnesses, and rope for couples.
